North Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole, Thai designed golf course, 25-minutes’ drive south of Chiang Mai. Previously a private, 9-hole course, in 2011 it opened for play as an 18-hole public course. North Hills is renowned for its great golf course maintenance which is on a par with a private golf club, as well as it’s scenic views of Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous temple. The course is relatively flat and easy, meaning it attracts beginners looking to hone their skills. The greatest challenge on this course, is navigating the narrow fairways and avoiding the many water hazards that come into play. The intimate clubhouse is stylishly decorated and includes a bar and highly-regarded restaurant. With a spa, fitness centre, driving range, and pro-shop all on site, the Club certainly does not lack facilities. Its convenient location just 25-minutes’ drive from Chiang Mai airport makes this golf course one of the most attractive and easily accessible golfing experiences in Northern Thailand.
