Bonanza Golf & Country Club

Located in Khao Yai National Park, 90 minutes north of Bangkok, Bonanza Golf & Country Club opened for business in 1996. The club was reportedly named after the famous US TV series by the owners, who were avid fans of the long-running show.
This par-72 course is 7,480 yards in length and slopes south to north, alongside several big reservoirs at the northern end of the course. The course is defined by its significant elevation changes; as much as 120 ft in places. Its fairways are wide with very few trees to obstruct, while it boasts the least number of bunkers of any course in Thailand!
The resort is very natural in its look and feel and has excellent facilities for families, including an adventure park, horseback riding, an exotic zoo and even a speedway area. Be aware that the elevation of the resort means it can get quite cold, particularly at night and in the early mornings.
Large stately mansions surround the course, including one owned by the ex-prime minister of Thailand. The Bonanza Golf Lodge provides 2-star rustic accommodation.
