Gassan Khuntan, located in the mountains about an hour south of Chiang Mai and is the best of the three Gassan courses. Blessed with some stunning mountain views and undulating terrain, it could be ranked among the top courses in the north. The course itself winds through the mountains and features several holes with teak tree-lined fairways and others where water and strategy come into play. |

Gassan Legacy Golf Club is conveniantly located 20 minutes south of Chinag Mai city, in an area surrounded by rice paddy fields. It was closed in 2013 for a complete renovation by the US design firm Schmidt-Curley. It is a fairly flat course with an abundance of water hazards that like to collect golf balls! New turf, drainage, and greenside hazards have improved the course dramatically. |

Built in 2006, around a 10,000 square metre lake, Gassan Marina boasts a 7,761 yard course that brings water into play on most holes. After a ten year closure, the Chiang Mai course re-emerged for the second time in 2017 under the Gassan Panorama Golf Club moniker. The most impressive feature here is the massive and extravagent Arabian inspired clubhouse. |

Hariphunchai is a stand-out 9-hole, par-36 championship golf course, just 30-minutes drive south of Chiang Mai. Beautiful views of Doi Suthep, Doi Inthanon and Doi Wat Bhuddhabart surround this golf course. Designed by the famous Japanese golf course architect, Yoshikazu Kato, well-manicured fairways and pristine greens make the condition of this course comparable to a private members club. |

Located just 10 minutes from Chiang Mai city centre and within the Lanna Sports Centre, Lanna Golf Club covers an area of 700 rai. Being one of the first golf courses built in Thailand, Lanna is very popular with local Thais. The course is kept in pretty good, but not immaculate condition. |

Located just a short drive from the city, Mae Jo is a popular course thanks to the interesting layout by Seni Thirawat. Several holes wind through an orchard and a forest which makes straight tee shots mandatory for a good score. Extremely undulating greens are of a meduim speed, but the slope severely adds to the challenge and excitement on every hole. |

Situated just 30 kilometers south of Lampang and 125 kilometers south of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, is Mae Moh Golf Course. This 18-hole, par-72 course is managed by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and is located next to a power station. However, don’t let its large and unsightly neighbour put you off, the power station actually has no impact on the golf course. |

North Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole, Thai designed golf course, 25-minutes’ drive south of Chiang Mai. Previously a private, 9-hole course, in 2011 it opened for play as an 18-hole public course. North Hills is renowned for its great golf course maintenance which is on a par with a private golf club, as well as it’s scenic views of Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous temple. |

A wonderful Peter Thomson design located north of Chiang Mai with great views of the mountains and although its quite flat, some holes have very good elevation changes. Mainly parkland with tee lined fairways with a good mixture of varying length of par 4s and 5s make it interesting and the course is a very fair test with no tricks or blind shots. The property includes a 55 room hotel with each room overlooking the course along with a swimming pool, sauna and restaurant serving a variety of cuisines.
