Sir James Country Club

The Sir James Golf Course at Forest Hills Country Club is nestled in the foothills of Khao Yai National Park, less than 90km from Bangkok. Sir James is a 27-hole, parkland course and golf resort, with beautiful mountain, lake and forest views. It was designed in 1993 by John W. Rogers (Macdonald Scotland) and Pichai Vichupas.
The course was named after Sir James Holt and offers golfers of every skill level a ‘back to nature’ golfing experience. Waterfalls, lakes, flowers arrangements and elevation changes, make the Sir James Golf Course one of the most attractive golf courses in Thailand.
The course is easy-going in places, but certainly isn’t without its challenges. There are a couple of standout holes, including the par-5 3rd hole, the par 3, 15th hole and the 18th hole up to an elevated green in front of the clubhouse.
Following your round, relax on the veranda of the clubhouse and soak up stunning views of the golf course and surrounding area, before enjoying a restaurant meal on the terrace. For those wanting to overnight, there is a 119 room 4-star hotel adjacent to the course, although it is feasible to make it a daytrip from Bangkok.
