When you learn that the course was designed by an electricity company, you could be forgiven for thinking 'lets give it a miss'. However, we recommend giving Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course a little more consideration. Located in amongst dense jungle in  the Koh Sok National Park about two hours north of Phuket, this course is well worth a visit not just for the scenery but for it's well-maintained, stand-out course. Good elevation changes, tight fairways and water hazards make this course a very good challenge for every standard of golfer. Facilities include a magnificent clubhouse with view across the National Park, practice facilties, a driving range and huge putting green. The course gets very busy with locals at weekends and public holidays and accommodation in the area is quite expensive.  This course is worth the effort on account of its magnificent setting, perfect combination of scenic beauty, sporting challenge and golfing pleasure.
