Santiburi Samui Country Club is a championship course as spectacular as it is challenging. As the first golf course on Koh Samui, the designers did a fantastic job of intergrating the course into the jungle and mountains. This 18-hole championship golf course came to fame when it hosted the 2006 Bangkok Airways Open. Finding the fairway, not distance is the key here and the average golfer will find himself challenged on every shot. This challenging course requires a golf cart to get up and down the steep mountain slopes. The driving range is designed to replicate the golf course and the tee area has spectacular views of the ocean. The changing rooms are well-appointed and the restaurant is spacious and clean with a well-priced menu.
