Pattana Golf Club & Resort is a self-contained golf resort including a 27-hole layout with large clubhouse, sports stadium, conference center, heliport, and on-site accommodation. Located north east of Pattaya in Chonburi Province, Pattana is accessible from both Pattaya and Bangkok. The five star clubhouse sets the visitors expectation very high, however the course conditions can vary dramatically so it is necessary to check before booking. The pro-shop is well-stocked and the locker rooms are clean and spacious but the driving range doesn't open until 1pm which is not a lot of use to warm-up up for a morning tee time. Pattana tends to caters to large local Thai and Asian groups making tee times, especially on weekends, at a premium and play, often slow.
