The main feature of Loch Palm is Crystal Lake in the middle of the course which presents the main problem for golfers on the first four holes. The course incorporates good design in a pretty setting. Loch Palm is a challenge to every standard of golfer with a good mix of long and short par 4,s and some wonderful par 3,s. The clubhouse was renovated in 2008 and serves excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. A small on-site golf resort caters to local golfers wanting to stay over the night and have a hit early the next morning. However, most Phuket golf visitors opt stay in hotels in one of the better known beach areas.
