Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2004, Mission Hills is a picture postcard course to play whilst in Phuket. It has an impressive clubhouse and hotel and a grand feel to it. The course itself is an excellent design with some great holes and spectacular views over the islands. Surpisingly, this is the only course in Phuket with holes that run parallel to the sea. Large white sand beach bunkers contrast with the translucent blue hues of the ocean waters and the vibrant greens of the Bermuda grass on the fairways and Paspalum Sea Isle 2000 grass on the putting surfaces. Service both on the golf course and at the accompanying spa and resort is first class. You can even order food and drinks to be delivered to you on the course as you play.
