Opened in 1989, this was the first 18 hole championship golf course to be built on Phuket. It is a fair course, on which high handicappers can score well and low handicappers still feel challeneged. Phuket Country Club is located in the centre of the island and meanders through hills and limestone cliffs. The condition of the course is not as good as it used to be and the addition of some badly designed bunkers has spoilt some of the holes. Adequate clubhouse with fine views over the course and plenty of good experienced caddies make Phuket Country Club a good fun day out.
